They don't have the bowling attack . That's why they are looking to bat until 8. Unless they have 4 high quality bowlers + 2 strong back ups, they don't even play 4 bowlers. The Aussies don't rate bowling all-rounders often. All their good allrounders have been batters first - Watson, Maxwell, Marsh , Stoinis(at least in theory). Abbott is not playing for his batting . They just don't have options whi are experienced enough. They'll play batting until 8, maybe Zampa and 2 pacers. If all are fit, they might go with an attack of Zampa, Cummins, Josh, Starc on rare occasions. I think the loss of Travis Head should worry them more. Link to comment

If today was a WC knockout..they are done. Heck even if India scored 75 runs less..they are still 99% done cos these totals are brutally hard to chase in a knockout. Their strategy in 2015 was great but the pure bowlers they had were pure fire. Starc of 2015 Josh Johnson India in 2011 could stack its batting cos that was our best shot with Yuvi and Raina/Yusuf bowling. In 2023, our batting is not the monster it was in 2011. Occasionally, they'd go Tom Moody at 7 who was a hard hitter or Ian Harvey but honestly they were all picked for their hitting and less their bowling. The issue still continues to be Abbott. Hazlewood and Zampa were fine considering the conditions. I want to see them bowl 30 quality overs and then we can judge. Link to comment

No, With pandya at 7 we have full 5 bowlers. Juat trust these 5 bowlers to bowl their full quota. Apart from Chennai and Lucknow, I will not play Jadeja. This team will give nightmare to any team.
