putrevus Posted October 2, 2023 Posted October 2, 2023 There is no juice in this world cup.Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Netherlands, SA and SL. These teams have no realistic chance to get to semi finals. All those 6 weeks wasted for just three matches. Round robin format is death knell for world cup.

Thakur anyway gets smashed at 10 runs an over at the death but that's not an issue for some Klaasen sneaked in 3 overs for 23 for such a rubbish bowler. So basically, that's still better than having Thakur in the side and then bowling at the death when you know he's gonna be plundered. Assuming we have only rubbish part time like Klaasen, even if Pandya can only bowl 6, we will concede 31 runs off part timer's overs.Which is perfectly fin when we get a better bowler and an additional batter. But don't expect dunces who support this fraud theory and fraud players to understand that :)

Of course in some places batting second is almost always an advantage, especially D/N games like at Wankhede.

Do we have anyone like Yuvi whom captain could count every match 10 overs plus don't forget his batting. We had 6 plus Pandya in 2019 semis, what happened?

Yeah they should have developed that option before. Too late now. Atleast combined they could 6-8 overs. Terrible batting lineup in 2019. Just 7 doesn't make it invincible strategy. Karthik,Dhoni were trash. If Dhawan was fit we'd have much better chance.
