I have seen such disdain from the aus team of 2000s. it might be arrogance, but if you have the skills & work ethics to back it up, you are good.

Don't remember them making fun of opposition. Disdain on the field is different thing.

One good thing I have seen is almost all Indian wickets are on defense - ie bowled, lbw, caught behind.

The wickets that we have lost are almost all trying to hit out - Few exceptions are Gill vs Eng, Gill vs SA, Rohit vs Aus etc

That means Indian bowling hasn't been attacked enough

Dunno man, no need to tempt the fate in this moment :nervous:

yeah. I guess he was more comfortable because he was talking to Kaif in Hindi. I don't see him making a similar comment if the anchor were speaking english & the audience, a bit wider.

He should hold onto these at least till we lift the cup.

India did not have aggression in any aspect of our game let alone fast bowling. Hearing commentary during 1990's you would never even hear the word.

Only after Ganguly era the confidence and aggression started to come in.  Also India always had only a few good batters and bowlers but never a good package. Not often the team would click as a unit. If one performed the others would let the team down. Only since early 2000's that winning a game became more regular than losing and team combinations started getting better.

No fast bowlers know how to bowl on Indian pitches. Shami has mastered it over the years. Actually Umesh is also another guy. But he does it mostly with SG ball. Not a kookaburra specialist on Indian pitches.

That's all great but how is it related to Shami
