Nah we saw what he did last year in WT20.

His fitness is not worth it.

This is Rohit 3.0. He can't play longer innings now but his new agressive style combined with his big hitting can be a huge asset in T20s.

He's the best 6 hitter in the powerplays in the world. Can smash the best of bowlers. Any youngster can't do that immediately.

Will it work outside India? Certainly didn't work in Aus last year.

Youngsters bring a novelty that teams can't plan against. I'd back Jaiswal and Gill/Gaikwad to do the job.

You don't just throw away your best, inform batters just coz they are old.

The Fact is Rohit and Kohli got us in the finals and also had pretty good knockout performances. It was the youngsters who failed in the final.

The next WC is in WI/USA in June next year just after the IPL.

Who failed in WT20 last year? Rohit got 27 off 28, Kohli got 50 off 40. Impactless innings both.

You can't compare ODIs to T20. Else Surya would have done well.

Just realized jadeja took zero wickets in both KO games. Dhakke maar ke nikalo isey white ball team se

It's not at all surprising. He averages over 36 with ball in ODIs and only had one 5-wicket haul in some 190 matches. He already had overachieved when he got those 5 wickets. He was never really an LOI player, but somehow managed to keep his place in the team all along.

Jadeja need axing ASAP. Has been stinking it up since 2009 WT20 when his backer Dhoni promoted him up the order and it failed miserably as lost to Eng and got knocked out. Has not one innings of any substance in all that time.

Well he has that 30 odd in 2013 CT Final and 60 odd in the 2019 SF. Other than that, nothing

 Absolutely zero substance.

Time to look beyond cricket for a while.

Ain't that the truth. India has more than a billion people and a lot of overall wealth. They suck like donkeys in every sport and they still cannot boss the sport they put all their eggs in. Try to diversify. Stop hero-worshipping for Pete's sake.
