ICC needs to find ways to minimise impact of dew

Recommended Posts

After 2021 T20 WC fiasco in Dewbai, it has affected the games in this wc as well.

Organisers are blindly following the times given by broadcasters without caring about the impact it can have on the game.

Ashwin gave the idea a year ago that matches can start at 12 o clock afternoon but the broadcasters just don't agree with that.

There has to be a way to minimise this kind of unfair advantage on toss.

Just play the KO matches as day games. Start at 10 AM and end at 5 pm. Normally you ll anyways have flood lights if light is an issue. Job done. Can you stop rain No. can you stop dew No. so play when no dew. Sunday final we really dont need day night match. People will happily watch from 10 am. Just as england did in 2019. No idea why star etc and bcci is fixated on day night. We are playing in nov the finals so even hot weather not an issue

Almost all India's important matches were on Sat or Sun. They could be easily day games.

England, Aus, SA, NZ - 10 AM IST start also suited these time zones for watching matches for fans of these countries.

The obsession with day night is ruining the game.

For couple of 100 million BCCI have sold their soul to star. Ambanis taking over Disney hotstar. Hope people there are looking into this.

It won’t allow BCCI babus to do their stupid light show if we make it day game.
