India vs Afghanistan, 2nd T20I - Indore, 14 Jan

How many times must Rohit fail in T20Is before he is axed from the team?

Absolutely mental.

The ODI World Cup should be treated as the end of one cycle and the beginning of another.

Rohit should only play Tests if at all

His greatness in ODIs has nothing to do with T20Is at all

Despite all the options smart money is on us going into the wc with an underpowered batting Line up. We have decent options now tbh.

Dube programming :

if (ball pitched on middle or leg and good length)

    Swing for midwicket

else if (ball pitched on middle or leg and full length)

   Swing for midwicket

else if (ball pitched on middle or off and full length)

   Swing for deep cover

else

   Holy **** … look like a fool

end

More than decent.  Our white ball batting talent has never had as much quality and depth.

Need to invest in them for 4 years instead of hurriedly searching for batting positions 3 months before the World Cup and using guess work to select the likes of SKY at #6.

Everything else can be forgiven in the last decade but losing the 2023 World Cup stings the most.

If they had planned from 2019, it was ours for the taking.

Just two months ago, our WC squad was filled with right handers. Now, except for Rohit and Kohli, and the stop gap keeper, everybody in the top 9 is a left hand batsman.

Bring in practical replacements - Pant or Kishan for Jitesh, Sai and Padikkal for Rohit and Kohli, and Kuldeep for Bishnoi, we can almost play XI lefties.
