First class Posted February 10 Share Posted February 10 (edited) This is the first time in my life time Pakistan army has been defeated by a politician and no one other than Imran Khan could do it. This is the beginning of the end of army rule in Pakistan. Amount of support IK received in this polling was unprecedented , not many people expected it. His party is virtually banned and broken , many of the party leaders had left the party, under pressure , torture or under some kind of deal. Ik himself is facing 31 year jail time and more to come. Most of the party's remaining leaders are in jail or gone underground . Party was not allowed to run the campaign , its worker and voters are being harassed , massive poll rigging but the result, IK's party is the biggest winner in current elections. Apparently these forms are filled at two different level, Form 45 is filled as number of votes a politician has got and is done in front of media , various politicians which record how many votes each politician got. Later EC officials fill form 47 in their office and record who won it based on numbers of Form 45. Problem is there seems massive mismatch specially where Imrans Independent lost. So op is wrong. Also as per law 70+ seats for non existent minorities and Women is allocated among registered party depending upon how much they won. PTI didn’t contest as a political party but independent ie don’t qualify for share of 70+ ssats. So effectively add 36+ seats to PML wich takes their numbers to 108+. So its about time Imran and PTI Support accept the reality that there is no overwhelming wave against establishment. If it wasn’t UK and US voicing some concerns establishment would have publicly hanged Imran today. And funny thing is same PTI backers will get agitated when u talk about. China vs American influence on Establishment. OP is simply spreading misinformation that PTI won when they clearly didn’t . Everyone hates the Establishment (whatever that is) because they want to become the establishment and then they love the establishment.
