Yes they would lose 2-0 in India so that makes it impossible for them.

I reckon they will lose to Eng as well at home or drop a test confirmed.  Eng bullies Kiwis in Kiwi land too

OK I thought you meant there is no mathematical possibility of them winning at all.

Lol going through the comment section of the highlights on YT , majority Indians crying how Carey was denied a 100 :facepalm:Cummins shouldn't be selfish and what not :facepalm:this milestone mentality is so horrendously ingrained amongst Indians it's ridiculous

That too only for batsmen.

Kuldeep was stranded on 4 wickets in Ranchi, Ashwin was on 9 here in the second innings, but ball wasn't given to them for the rest of the innings. Has happened so many times that I have lost count.

Our milestone obsession is only for batsmen, Indians in general are obsessed with 100s, superstar batsmen. We will sacrifice team cause to ensure batsmen get their milestones, horses for courses shall be applied only to bowlers and never to batsmen, only batsmen can be made captains, bias towards batsmen in central contracts, endorsements, fan following etc. KL Rahul's ad fees are more than that of Bumrah, Shami, Ashwin, Jaddu, can you believe that? There is a caste/class system in Indian cricket with batsmen enjoying all the benefits.

Cummins ka bahut acchha time chal raha hai. WTC, WC, Ashes heroics, IPL bonanza, home season performance, whitewash in NZ to almost seal another WTC F spot.....WI was a minor blip but overall he has been so successful the last 10 months.

With Ashwin in the last match I think Bumrah the stand-in captain has no way of knowing that Ashwin was stranded on 9 wickets because of his 4 wicket haul in the 1st innings. That's why as soon as he got 5 wickets he replaced him.

A loss here would have forced Australia to fix some of their weak links, head/marsh/carey. Now they'll play unchanged XI vs india with Smith opening :aha:

They have no one in shield to replace any of those 3 anyway

Bro I checked the FTP. RSA will tour Bangladesh for 2 tests later this year, meaning they too are out of the WTC final.....they haven't drawn a test in SC the last 8 years, forget winning. Whitewashed in Ind, Pak, SL the last time they toured. BD will fancy their chances of winning the series, maybe even 2-0.

My favourite thrashing was the demolition job that absolutely annihilated the crap out of south africans in 2018. Ruthless decimation of the highest order. Like a total wipe out. Absolute carnage.

Yes I loved the thrashing in 2015 as well. Vs a very in peak south african side with quality bowling and batting. Abd prime etc.

But that 2018 series was devastating. South Africans will never forget that lmao

Making Cummins captain is turning out to be a master stroke.Everything he is touching is turning into gold.

It will be very tough series down under this time.

It'll be important to take all the chances we create. Nz dropped 9 catches in 2 tests including Mitch Marsh today. Even Pakistan dropped a zillion catches in their series, otherwise they got into really good positions in that series

Yes he's quite lucky like MSD

A day before the WC2023 Final, Cummins said at the pre-match conference: "In a Final, there is nothing more satisfying than keeping the home crowd silent".   Deep down within, he was confident of beating us.  And he did.

He had good plans for the final & we had nothing! Just hope that RGS attack in the PP pays off & then build on that - the cap was so *ing stupid trying to hit Maxi into the crowd every ball that it's beyond reprehensible

That is what luck means.Getting from 5/80 to score 281 is not a joke,They still had to score 60 odd runs when Cummins walked into bat.

You have to give them credit for keeping composure, one thing we have to give it to Aussies they are not afraid to fail .That gives them freedom to express themselves.

Compare our WK Saha in Adelaide 2014, our strokeless wonder was batting like cat on hot tin roof. When all he had to do was rotate strike. So many matches India has lost like those in last five years.

We need guys like Pant or Sehwag  to bat with freedom.Other Indian batsman only talk about batting with freedom but they don't do it.

Tim Paine missed easy stumping of Pant in Gabba test and Sydney but those are not remembered.

Poyzz legit should have won at least 1 test...  Masood was leading the side very well.   Shafique was dropping dollies that were proving to be way too costly.

Windies caught everything in that second inns...  And Joseph bowled a spell where he just attacked Stumps at serious pace to blow away the lower middle order.

Something that Kiwis lacked today.  Rachin's drop will haunt them for a long while

Easy when no one cares about you losing or winning in Australia in tournaments except ashes and India away and home tour. Pressure is low as Aussie fans don't treat cricket like a religion.

No,as I said loosing to this side was pure humiliation

If Kaptann had brains and Darrwid wasn't the cuck that he's,we should beat them 7-8/10

That was brainfade moment for Kaptaan which brought Aus into the game and they never looked back

Kela,Iyer were absolute shyte with moron Siraj with the ball in hand

I still belive if we had scored somewhere between 285-290, Australia were in for a treat
