This is definitely not the best inform Aussie side battingwise. You can easily beat them. So NZ losing to them only tells how much mental strangle hold Australia has over NZ.

Problem is nz don't have a second bowler. Glenn Philips is their second best bowler after Henry.

NZ hv a lead of 135 with 7 wickets remaining.   A target of 275+ could make things interesting.  Pitch has flattened out for sure.

Southee should hv been dropped after the 1st game.  But LOL. :phehe: He is the captain.    Seniority quota at play. Just like Ind does.

Relentlessness of this Australian attack is really fearsome. No matter how much you think you have grinded them, they just keep coming back at you.

the pacers will start tapering off at some point, and they have no real replacements. It seems like that boland is only good on some tracks (false dawn from him) and Richardson Jha is always injured. Lance Morris seems more like nantie hayward to me, albeit not as pacy or erratic as hayward

Agree. Aussies are really lucky that they got 3 ATG all format pacers for such a long duration. Will be very difficult to replace them.

Shameless cricbuzz said this test match was meandering towards a lull as of now when NZ were 243-3 and a little less than half the test match left.

As usual Labuchagne dropped. Luckiest batsman.

A certified HTB.    Got a life via dropped catch.  Yet failed to capitalise on it.  Could not add a single run after that.  LOL

My prediction of India vs Eng WTC final is well and truly on...

Another 1-1 here would be Disastrous for Aus.

Their batting looks cooked.

SA too have a shot tbh.
