I think bro is done and dusted.  His body just can't handle the stress and rigours of Fast bowling

He needs to go out of NCA.

They will keep on messing it up till they turn him into another joke.

If BCCI is really serious, send him to Australia where he will be under experts who understands fast bowling.

My Heart is broken & crying but I can't see tears in my eyes.

I don't know why But I still feel @MayankYadav will bounce back in 6 to 12 months .........

I saw some serious talent in him pace @150 and Line & length perfect, he actually required no coaching at all. we wanted him to continue like that but that could not happen.

He is not playing, do nt think they are doing anykind of intense training how can he pick new  injury. Looks like a strategic move from LSG to replace him with some1 else. As he is bowling like a club level bowler with no skills and no pace.

Also it will reduce media speculations and pressure from lsg tm

I don’t know what the f is going with him and his rehab program.

If he had a stress reaction, did they not scan him again before declaring him fit?

If yes and that showed recovery, he hasn’t really bowled anything to pick up a serious injury again.

Or did they not scan him (will not be surprised as these idiots were just throwing random fitness percentage numbers in the air)?
in which case he never really recovered. Now in this case again we have 2 scenarios. Was he feeling fit or was he hiding fitness??

For drama, I’ll add in another possibility. Mayank was struggling and so took the easy way out and used an injury excuse. I definitely don’t think this happened though. Looks more that he was already unfit / or at least not 100 percent (knowingly or partially unknowingly).

Regardless, this guy is done. He looks physically weak. In addition to sorting the issues above, he also needs to bulk up a bit and show a different attitude.

I think NCA as usual just threw some random number and gave him a pass certificate.

As there is no accountability, no one will question them back.

Mayank wasn't bowling at his quickest. Same we saw in Prasidh as well who was trundling after NCA stint and giving around 131-137. Once he became his prime, he started clocking 144-151k

They had posted his video of bowling in the nets with intensity.  They are doing practice sessions for sure.

You realise Cummins was out for FIVE years after hsi debut with injuries right? And bumrah? Every fast bowlers has stress related back injuries early in their early career.

I’ve never seen bowlers take 6 months off and then get injured again after bowling 1-2 four over spells in actual matches. And this has happened multiple times. What he does in practice does not cover up this non sense.  That’s part of rehab and preparation.

Even bowlers known for back injuries (Pattinson, Bond, Cummins) never broke down in this manner. They had recurring problems but never like this. Bumrah has had back surgery but after a proper rehab, he dint break down in 4 overs not were his speeds down. Stop with these non sensical reasons.

Lol there is just no excuse. There is something fkd about this rehab situation. Whatever way u wanna spin it.

And the worst part of it which really takes the cake is the fact that these morons tweaked his action and also made him a slower bowler by about 15 km. lol WTF is this non sense.  I don’t think he even has any confidence in his own fitness. It’s obvious in his interviews.

For every such success story there are more than 5x-6x stories where bowler were not the same after injury and faded away.

Every single fast bowlers has injuries early in career. Depends on how they come back.

Yes and most does not come back as same bowlers they were before the injury

And I've never seen anyone who dropped 20kph after the injury. Going from 155kph to 135kph is unseen. If Mayank can't bowl 150+, he's useless as he has no other skills. Gun barrel straight and no variety except for a poor slower delivery won't bother intl batters.

No one loses pace just doing rehab, bowler loses some pace when there is change in the action, but not 15 kmph on average.

Such kind of pace is lost only when the bowler is coming back from a surgery and starting to bowl again. 15-20 kmph loss does not happen with just rehab.
