MI needs to change both its opening strategies

 

Opening bowlers Boult and Chahar are useless if there is no seam movement. Boult just floats the ball and becomes cannon fodder if there is no movement. Chahar got spanked even by Padikkal. They let even Kohli get his fastest 50 in 7 years in this IPL. It's time to change the opening bowlers. They can probably try Corbin Bosch and Raja Bawa or Ashwani in their place.

 

Opening batsmen: Rickleton did well in one game, but failed otherwise. Rohit Sharma has been a disaster as expected. The reserves don't inspire much confidence either. They can probably promote Naman Dhir to open and try one of the reserves in the middle order.

Rohit should've retired after CT win. It's sad to see him become a joke in IPL. Even if he scores once or twice every IPL, that's not gonna help the team much.
