Depends on the batting too. Kela will tuk tuk on this pitch too :giggle:

if it is was kelas team forget even 200. Kela: “boys wicket looks sluggish and it will slow down even more, so lets aim for 160-170. I will make SURE to anchor the innings, please play responsible cricket”.

pooran in his head: “ This effer lost his mind, im going from ball one you doofus”.

Flat wickets are okay but at least play on proper sized grounds.

Chinnaswamy or Wankhede are reflections of real estate crunch in those cities.

Mumbai has Brabourne & DY Patil as well, how big are they..any idea ?

Brabourne I understand is tough to get games due to CCI..but DY Patil can be a good alternative if it's bigger than Wankhede, though it doesn't lie in the heart of Mumbai.

Bengaluru has no option, they simply need to get a different ground, or destroy some of the stands to extend the boundaries.

Wankhede has become the first stadium to have 1500 sixes.  Back then Mohali (under lights), Wankhede and Chinnaswamy were the only stadiums that were batting friendly. Hyderabad stadium used to be knuckle ball paradise. Now it has become a belter. Eden Gardens is also a high scoring groudn now. Delhi used to be crap. But we don't play there this time. Right now only Chepauk and Ekana are the hardest to bat on surfaces. Jaipure is reaosnably good for all. One of the better pitch. Ground is also big.

Well the batting paradises have always been there. It's more how teams have adapted to the impact player rule and it's not just the runs that you may get from the extra player.

They know they have someone they can throw in to rescue if, and a big IF, things go south, gives them extra depth and that makes a big psychological difference. Batters can go from ball 1. It's one of the reasons ICT will always be risk averse as we don't have any depth to speak of when we bat
