Now we are seeing serious side effects, injuries and deaths among young people, children and even professional sportsmen. Actual videos are available but not on youtube (if you want to see it embedded and easy to play, you are not the audience I'm expecting) There is a new phenomena happening. Its that of people spinning in a spiral and having seizures of some kind and dying, possibly related to brain aneuryism. And a fair few of them are from India. Its happening all around the world. I personally was strongly against vaccination for myself, I thought I had caught covid once and thought it was very easy for me to recover. So I thought I had the antibodies and didn't need the vaccine (foreign liquid) ... while knowing that vaccines are useful for many disease prevention (rabies etc) and even for covid in case of the elderly. On the topic of the vaccine itself, COVID vaccine, just like any other vaccine, it is risk-reduction. Not risk-elimination. Taking the vaccine will not make you immune from COVID. It just means you have a less chance of getting COVID. And if you get COVID, less chance of you transmitting to anyone else. This was very clearly communicated to me by my health care provider from the very beginning. When I took the vaccine, I was told very clearly upfront, there is chance of 'x' happening in rare cases. Do you wish to proceed? I made the choice to get the vaccine. No one put a gun to my head. Covishield is internationally available as AstraZeneca. It is global. And it is the international fear mongering that started with US and Europe. Did they have a choice in the second wave with our intellectual media colluding with western outlets beaming pictures of corpses burning? You are the first one to blame BJP for anything bad. After the second wave, Covaxin and covidsheild happened and 1 billion , I repeat 1 billion people got vaccinated and the corpses burning was stemmed. The rare cases amount to a few 100s or a few 1000s in 140 crores, consider it a collateral . Sad to hear about your uncle.
