Should Pakistan play qualifiers to enter the 2027 World Cup and be stripped of Test status?

Considering the way Pakistan were rinsed by Afghanistan in the 2023 World Cup and the way they've been beaten by USA, it leaves a big question mark about their pedigree for international cricket .    

 

It would be in the larger interest of the game to have Pakistan play WC qualifiers with the likes of Scotland and Uganda for 2027 as it is now unclear if we can take for granted that Pakistan is a Top 6 side.  

 

No Test series wins at home for a while as well so Test status should be considered too .

I can totally see them giving up on test cricket in years to come. Don't think anyone from the current bunch got an interest in playing that format.

Pakistan is a failed state and has been teetering on the brink of collapse for the last two years.  It'd be madness to assume the institutional rot wouldn't affect their sporting performance.

People in general know that Pak is a team that can lose to Zim one day and beat Aus the next day. It is a relatively inconsistent team and therefore unpredictable.
