Watching tennis after a long time (almost 5 yrs). Last one vs ATG match Djokovic vs Federer 2019 Wimbledon.

Anyways  seeing this Alcaraz for the first time. Eye test A++++ @Gollum

Who else watching?

I am a Djokovic hater turned big fan so not sure whom to support.

I was skipping back and forth. Advantages of modern technology where you can pause and playback live :)

Yeah I meant you can't turn into a fan after you started hating Djoker, it's Nadal > Fedex >>> Djoker for me always & forever  :om:

I didn't watch a single ball of cricket that day, not even super over (our sf loss played a part too). Two atg matches in my 2 fav sports, same timing, same country. Imagine the odds.

The tennis was of higher quality though.

I get that power, endurance, speed and other attributes have improved in all sports and tennis is no exception.

But I simply don't enjoy watching it as much as when we had peak Federer and Justine Henin at around the same time all those years ago.

Alcaraz leads 4-1 first set . Looks like a beastly tailunt. Future ATG

Never ever count ND out. He may start slow, but his mental toughness, ability to turn negatives into positives, and physical stamina are unmatched. I guarantee this is a 5-setter with ND pulling it off 9-7 in the 5th.
