Pakistan actually has better treatment of Hindus than Bangladesh .

Stats tell that after partition they were 1.6% . They are now increased to 2.17%. Stats tell you much bigger picture that there is no systematic persecution like Bangladesh where they are constantly reducing.

People expected a humane response from a government that claimed to  be pro Hindus. Organizations such as “Vishwa Hindu Parishad”, “Bajrang Dal”, “RSS”, etc., support it too. 

This was an opportunity for these “leaders” to do something but it appears as if they only focus on the “theatrics”.

 

They have devised an easy formula to gain votes - bash Rahul & do some stunt on Hinduism when the elections are near, along with going abroad to please the NRIs, who are invested in India’s cultural heritage.

 

The age old problem of a Hindu not steeping up for other Hindus when they are in dire need, resurfaces again and again. 
 

At the critical moment:

 

A Hindu becomes a Pakistani or a Bangladeshi (and then many ask Muslims to leave India, while treating foreign Hindus as foreign as well). 
 

Then it becomes, these Hindus belong to this state, why should we worry? (No wonder Kashmiri pandits are still in doldrums).

 

If that does not work, it goes to caste, neighborhood, etc.

 

If that does not work too, the old - we lack money, resources, India is a poor country (when it serves them advertise its growth rates, GDP, etc.), we need to look after ourselves first, and so on.

The game to find an excuse to not help continues in one fashion or the other. Many folks have been formulaic and blatant that they do not even need to think to find an excuse. It is time that these folks are called out for this.

 

People of India should not vote for BJP if Hindus in BD are not protected by it. Let alone protecting them, they are trying to alienate them. Who would ask for visas to people fleeing a blood thirsty mob? Many would have run with just their clothes on!!

Create an environment where a politician is afraid to even call himself a politician, and begins to actually work for the people rather than for votes.

 

Can’t continue to fool people by promising this or that, and running away with their tails tucked in at the time of real need - a life or death situation.

After few days have passed, Now I think in a way, It was good that Bangladeshis Jamaat and BNP and Students themselves chucked out Hasina. During her tenure she was never told "NO" by GoI simply because She had created a good will.  But cost of it to iNdia was too high.

 

Now , We can treat these terror sympathisers without Goodwill factor

She was shot by Border Guard Bangladesh police, not by our BSF.

It should have been cancelled. BCCi is probably trying to hide behind the “secular” nature of the country, forgetting that India is a Hindu majority nation with the largest number of Hindus in the world. If it does not stand up for Hindus, no one else will.

I won't watch a ball of Ind-BD series, thoughts and prayers with BD Hindus. Shame on BCCI for going ahead with this farce, and for GOI for engaging in hypocrisy, treat BD like you treat Pak. In many ways BD is worse than Pak, so many of our bravehearts died for ungrateful scum in 71.
