CoverDrive Posted October 4, 2024 Posted October 4, 2024 Easwaran is racking up runs for fun. Hard for him to break into the team but right now Sarfaraz and he can be good options in the long run in tests if and when Kohli and Rohit retire. Their problem is not being multi format players who get more attention. Sarfaraz somehow needs to have couple of good IPLs Jurel is also very good player who can do very well and will definitely be on the squad to AUstralia.

Supposed to be the next big thing , but not much of a show in both Duleep & Irani trophy Seems like not purchase for spinners. Spinners from both teams have struggled. Another thing is they are bowling to some of the best players in the ocuntry.
vvvslaxman Posted October 4, 2024 Posted October 4, 2024 (edited) One thing about Eswaran is he has half a dozen different type of sweep shots covering various parts of the ground against spin. Sarfraz sweeps well too. Edited October 4, 2024 by vvvslaxman
vvvslaxman Posted October 4, 2024 Posted October 4, 2024 Jurel gone. Now tricky situation for ROI. Suthar can bat. If they take out Eswaran Mumbai will be back.
vvvslaxman Posted October 4, 2024 Posted October 4, 2024 This is a road pitch i think. Bowling is hard work. Those who missed out should be kicking themselves.
singhvivek141 Posted October 4, 2024 Posted October 4, 2024 Easwaran missed his double hundred, Jurel missed his hundred. Lone Wolf 1
vvvslaxman Posted October 4, 2024 Posted October 4, 2024 Eswaran's productive sweep shot led to his dismissal.
Nikhil_cric Posted October 4, 2024 Posted October 4, 2024 Why has allrounder Thakur bowled only 4 overs?

CoverDrive Posted October 4, 2024 Posted October 4, 2024 Seems like Mumbai players have more game sense than anyone else. The lead was there for the taking but fell for the trap. Pitch doesn’t have much in it to give a result so this match is academic mostly now

vvvslaxman Posted October 4, 2024 Posted October 4, 2024 There is an outside chance for ROI from here. If they bowl them out in the first hour or so with not much runs they can try bazball. Sai Sudarshan is no different for this type of situation. Sai sudarshan and Jagadeesan played bazball last season in the Ranji.
