Neck fracture :((

Musheer, along with his father Naushad Khan, was travelling from Azamgarh to Lucknow when their car hit the divider and flipped a few times. Although the accident was serious, the young cricketer escaped without further injuries.

According to a media advisory, "Musheer is currently admitted to a hospital in Lucknow, where he remains stable, conscious, and well-oriented. He has sustained a fracture in the neck region and is under close observation. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) medical teams are closely monitoring his progress to ensure he receives the best possible care.

This sucks,we really have bad luck with cricketers and road accidents.Hope he can play next season.

Yeah, unfortunately season over for him. Had a chance to stake his claim here, will have to start from scratch all over again.

no he didn't. Sarfaraz who actually did well in Test is sitting out for KL. Musheer would have had to wait for KL's retirement I guess

Hope for a speedy recovery for both father and son.

Govt has to increase traffic police on roads and highways. New highways, powerful machines with zero traffic sense is such a dangerous combination. Wrong side driving is like nature way of driving on our roads. Engines are getting powerful, hatchbacks with small engines tuned for mileage are able to hit 100kmph in 10s.  Putting on seat belt is 'Shaan ke kilaf' add to that so many older vehicles have zero safety features. Sad how many precious lives we are losing on road these days.

India is worlds no 1 place of road injuries

- cars with less safety . Note how bad cars crumple in India . 90 percent of indian cars won’t pass ntsa safety tests . 8 years ago , I bought a ford fusion for my father in law as it was the only car in that category to have airbags for front and back !!!

Ford shut shop and left country . I just bought an extera for my father in law and it’s not a safe car . He likes it to use only for mumbai traffic .

- poor driving habits . Lane driving is almost non existent. People drive drunk , tired . Laws for DUI are not strong enough to make a person go bankrupt or go to jail .

- poor roads and signage.  U have potholes on so many roads and it’s highly dangerous . Recently a doctor died with family outside of mumbai and it was cos she crashed into a road divider that shows up all of a sudden .

- motorcycle - much bigger menace.

Solutions need strict laws . Indian traffic police is useless . They need to triple the police force and have half of them on traffic duty . Lots of lives will be saved .
