We needed the fight against Australia, a fraction of it against Nzl. A feckless and disappointing defeat. 

It's another thing that the kiwi women look a better team than our girls in this edition who deserve to go through but we are a better team overall.

It's like watching those 4 drops of SRT by Pak , something extraordinary. Even Pak is not that poor in fielding.

@Chaos Pook Women hv created history tonight.    They hv beaten their Men counterpart comfortably on the field.    Dropped 11 catches and conceded 25 extra runs via misfields.  All in a space of just 1 hr

They showed a stat on who has highest percentage of catches. India topped the list lol So we aer better than Australia/NZ/England in catching. But they are better in groundfielding though.

Kohli dropped 3 catches in 30 minutes in Bangladesh Test series. He is king for a reason.

Yea.. in T20 that is way too many. But par for the course in women's cricket. All teams including gora teams drop a lot of catches.

Coz our women's team is poor. All that media hype about "Sharmaji ki beti", media headlines like "who'll topple India and Aus" and hype around mediocre players like Smriti, Jemimah, Shefali etc. makes us think as if we're 2nd only to Aus. But we've managed to lose 2 out of the last 3 Asia Cups to B'desh and SL women. That shows how mediocre we are. Media claimed we were the favorites against NZ women whereas NZ women have a better h2h record against us. Indian women team is mediocre and it won't change even if we somehow luck into semis, which we don't deserve to.
