Could well be the case.  But hv to admit that was a GOAT SA team under Cronje in the 1990s.   Overall, they were much stronger than even Aus. (Both ODI & Tests).  

They weren't. In 90's Tests , they had comparable bowlers but OZ batting was way ahead -  Border, Boon, the Waughs, Slats, Ponting.

 

SA had 3 good batters - Kirsten, Cullinan and Kallis for the entire decade .

 

Even in ODIs, OZ batsmen were the ones with higher strike rates generally .

No one is commenting how WBBL has already started while T20 WC is on. Imagine this happening with IPL and we will have cries of arrogant BCCI. Probably karma for AUssies for disrespecting the tournament.

The WBBL is not taking place it starts on the 27th . The tournament taking place is T20 spring tournament , domestic cricket doesn't stop because a WC is taking place , is every woman cricketer to stop playing cricket because 15 are out of the country ?
