So England's plan would be to be in lead by 200 runs and declare at Tea today, then have a crack at Pakistan for 4 sessions 120 overs approx. Result still looks difficult. 

 

England did all they could do but enforcing a victory after conceding 550 runs in the first innings is almost impossible.

Hardly, happened 3 times on the last 20 odd years, first by India vs Oz at Adelaide, then Eng same venue lost to Oz & Bangers beat everyone by declaring at 590 odd & losing to NZ
