Nt many teams can do that spclly when you r not know for six hitting. big ground six hitting becomes difficult and drives and check drives does not fetch boundaries
Ultimate_Game Posted November 16, 2024 Posted November 16, 2024 Chasing 12+ in Aus, especially bigger grounds takes some doing. Mishits can't carry for a 6 and someone like Maharaj can never get the ball to even touch the rope. You need beasts like Maxwell, Klassen, Miller, Rohit, Ramandeep etc. to clear the boundaries there.

Not small grounds like the ones we are playing SA at. A lot of sixes by Abhishek, tilak and Sanju would have been caught on these Aussie grounds Edited November 16, 2024 by New guy

Yes the square boundaries were 65m but that is the case with most grounds.

Tillu Posted November 16, 2024 Posted November 16, 2024 Australian ground dimensions were not the same the last time we played T20Is there. They were pulling in the ropes these days.

The Hound Posted November 16, 2024 Posted November 16, 2024 David has 1100 runs in T20I, pretty sure 800 of those came when he was playing for Hong Kong against Bahrain, UAE, Nepal and Oman.
