That too Kamala harris who got destroyed in the primary. Even within democrats she is not the best candidate. Klobucher, Liz warren got more votes. Heck even AOC would have gotten more votes.  She came through back door. FOrget about her performance in swing states. Look at her performance in blue states. Trump has done significantly better even in new york against Harris even though he lost. That is an alarming sign. Typically in some of these states Republicans get destroyed. Due to overwhelming unpopularity of Kamala she lost ground even here.

Its probably going to take a generation more for female candidtes to come through as presidents in the usa, 40-50 years.

 

 

I heard many in the USA latino communities are big on alpha male figure trump. But that does not explain how mexico elected their first women president or Brazil and Argentina have had women presidents. 

 

I feel its her race + ethnicity that sunk her. Non black latino males were not going to vote for a black lady. Black males never really considered her black.

 

 

Dems need to put forward a young white male candidate. They might have this time around had Biden not fluffed it.

This Trump victory was expected. Media was rigging all polls in battleground states. From Media, Celebs, Scierific Journals like Lancet we’re endorsing a a very weak candidate. All of a sudden after backing Biden all along . They showed her leading by 5-6 pts in national average. Her first interview with CNN showed she is not prepped well and a dumb one. 
 

  All networks are crying about mandate for Trump , but Dems chose a weak candidate and a scapegoat to run for elections in the bad economy/inflation. Anti-incumbency wave rather a victory for Trump.

We criticize Indian media but they are saint comparing to US news channels from my observation. 

Agree. He deserves a lot of criticism for his demeanor and they are only  used to the decent political class that stabs in the back like Clintonobama types. This fellow is least diplomatic and erratic and says nasty things. But , the media uses his personal criticism to target  republican policies and takes the intelligence of the electorate for granted Much like how left media takes Modi voters for dumb and stupid. At least focus on what worked in 2016-20 for the country.
 

Even in this campaign media, Kamala campaign focused on his personal traits while he was talking on immigration/economy/inflation etc and resonated more with people on the street , however poor and uneducated, blue collared they are. Republicans used to be the elite party and now he has turned it around, he has made an electorate available for Republicans who looked lost  in 2008-16 0bama days. Exhibit 1:

Women will never be elected as president u less both parties fielded a woman candidate at the same time. Hillary is the closest one to do that. But Bernie entered to her dismay. His supporters in rust belt turned their back on her.  Electability is the first and foremost criteria. That is why you have primary. You know the aukat of the candidate in primary.  Going by kamala track record she was not electable even in primary. Got 0 votes.  So it was seriously stupid of them to field her. She lost some of the reliable voting banks because of that.  They needed this pounding. Unlike some countries US has checks and balances. But they lost house and senate as well. This is a bit like picking Gauti as coach based on no track record as coach. He was a mentor and captain..Never a coach.

In simplistic terms, Trump 2020 and Harries 2024 lost by their own denials . Trump being Covid, and Harris being economy, immigration.

 

Yet, only Trump gets called out for such eccentricities, dumbness while the other side completely gets away.

No many called out Kamala for her poor performance in the interviews. Politics is not for her.
