My 2 cents on watching this crazy exchange:

 

1. USA is the most unreliable partner in the world. Never trust the Americans. Zelensky was right to say that the ocean prevents you folks from experiencing real trauma. 

2. JD Vance is an asshole. The whole thing about thanking the US was just pathetic. I don't like Zelensky - but talking about how Zelensky has not thanked the US enough in Trump's term is just BS. 

3. Respect to Trump for being ruthless regarding the rare earth deal. Didn't shy away from a one-sided beneficial deal to his country for optics. Our politicians can learn from this. Esp our current govt with all the minnow countries around us. Crush ppl when you have the opportunity.

4. I would like to see what kind of arguments about doing the right thing Trump and Vance talk about when the US is not in a position of strength. Would love to see what they say and do when they are in the weaker position. I'm sure talks about doing the right thing etc. will hold sway there.

5. It will be fun to see US-European relations after this. At what point will the camel's back break and Europe tells Trump to eff himself. I'm sure this isn't it. Going that way though.

I have now come to the conclusion Usha Vance is a textbook ABCD girl. Hates Indians and loves to portray herself as whiter than white and more American than anyone else. Probably agrees with everything that her redneck husband says and is more feral than him about Indians and how third world we are.

Comedian realised it a little too late.

How has this been fatal to Costa Rica, Japan, South Korea , Canada, UK , Israel, or EU?

 

They are best per capita incime economies in world. Only competition to to tgem comes frim few Oil rich Arab nation. Remain objective when analysing facts

Japan and Korea : how to go from self sustained decently developed societies throughout the ages on their own/under chinese vassalage(Korea) to how to become filthy rich and die off inside of a lifetime under USA. EU is the strongest example to give, but again, we see same scenario with EU but on lesser mode : let americans come sit in your country with their military, aka live under american military occupation, with them having decisive say in your foreign policy ( coz its military LIVES in YOUR country) and you end up being put on assimilation mode for ALL your culture.

Look at Euro culture as what it is today - 95% of population by numbers are Euro-burgers, ie, exactly american people with some Euro food variation and 5% are ACTUALLY the polish, lithuanian,german,french,spanish people in CULTURE and not just 'i am burger dude who speaks Checz and eats different kinda bread'.

 

How is that any good for India ? If we get into NATO-EU like scenario with USA, it means US military comes and lives in India. PERMANENTLY. And US has decisive word in major flashpoint in Pakistan-China angles. As in US gets to tell us what to do, not just 'we suffer consequence of IGNORING USA'.  And USA is USA. USA is not India. Why the fook would USA go out of its way to accomodate and fight tooth and nail for India's interests vis-a-vis Pakistan/China,IF it isnt directly benefitting uncle ? Uncle will then tell its junior partner to STFU, here is some moolah, go enjoy porn and booze and forget about kashmir. its best this way.

Like.....i dont see why people think EU is a win under USA. Yes, EU is rich. But EU zone has been FAR richer proportionate to the world for 100s of years PRIOR to becoming yankee vassals... Its not like you cannot live in a dangerous part of the world and still end up rich and successful- that is like half a dozen or more Euro countries in history.

 

The ONLY benefit EU has had with Yankee presence that is of real benefit, is that it has allowed Euros to progress fast and get socially secure by spending less on military and thus, for first time ever Euros have europe-wide peace to just get along with one another. Without this security blanket of USA, yes, EU gets proportionately poorer as the 20+ EU nations will have to put MORE money into their military to fill the USA sized hole and thats less $$ for its people to enjoy and more to sink on bandook.

 

But that is inapplicable to us. We didnt fall apart into Euro-dehat mess of warring itty bitty historic nations and kingdoms at each others throats and willing to genocide rest of india to win ala ww1 or ww2 mode.

So we dont need yankee military to come live with us to save us from us.....

 

So i dont see much benefit to EU like arrangement either.

 

Also, Japan got LITERAL SHAFTED and their entire civilizational trajectory changed due to USA. Because USA literally bullied Japan to sign Pressler accords and cut its economic miracle that saw Japan poised to overtake USA as economic giant.
people forget the 80s. Japan stood at the same place as China wrt to US GDP : 60% or more of gross US GDP but having 45% of USA's population AND growing. Coz everyone 40+ remembers the king-kong level electronics, vcrs, tvs, cars etc made by japanese in the 80s.
What happened ?? USA FORCED Japanese economy into collapse via Pressler accords.


Why was USA able to armtwist japan into signing this DEVASTATING economic capitulation deal, that saw INSTANT collapse of Japanese economy and stagnation within 4 years and never to recover for 35 years and counting ?? Coz US had military LIVING in Japan. Vassal. Sit son. How dare u get bigger and better than daddy.

 

Why would we want this to be our scenario - where if we become US dost, for 40 years we become super rich,then we get socially manipulated into extinction as a culture and our economy literally head-shotted by USA ????
