@Chaos Bitter truth is that the test matches involving Ind are not worth watching these days.  Pure waste of time.  I think we should be more active on this thread.  As things stand, Pooks are more entertaining than us. (In tests).    What's your take on this test?  Are Pooks gonna pull off a surprise win?

If two people named rohit n kohli team would be well gelled. But as of now i got so mad dunno if i will watch bgt series. Did nz in india…. Thank god.

No, what I mean is performing close to auction puts you in limelight and  increases your premium, you are known to almost every team, they bid like idiots, sometimes it doesn't even make sense, but than lot of things with IPL teams don't make sense.

 

Hell, it even works at junior level, look at that kid raking in a crore for a single innings in juniors bilateral series, anyone who saw even a bit of his batting in U19 Asia cup can pretty much tell there are high chances it's a crore wasted, he looked too mediocre against quality bowling.

Might have had a chance if we selected Shaheen who looked back to his old form in the one day series.

 

Wouldn't have even needed to bowl long spells.

 

Short bursts would have been enough.

he doesn't seem suited for tests any more. most Pak pacers have long-term stamina issues, which is why last pacer to cross 200 wkts was ages ago.

Bosch had only 72 wickets in 7 years of FC cricket and a highest score of 65, thats not an impressive FC record.

There are not too many good test fast bowler coming up since the emergence of T20. Pakistan has none, India has only Bumrah and SA has only one.   . Australia has an aging trio and that's it.
