 Harsha bhogle seems to be the biggest swine in Indian cricket. He was not a cricketer alright but he has brought nothing as an analyst.. Asansole has been commentating since 90s but doesn't have the balls to mention player names. Talking about ROKO level of players gaandoo doesn't even mention about Jurel, NKR etc

Completely agree to it right now people have only one target GG and rightly so for all his chutiyapa selection. But 7 players of playing xi are regular test players for some time and they have been completely exposed in last 2/3 home series. We thought they will take our cricket further after kohli and rohit exile.

It is because of team environment. Just like under Greg Chappell all legends were under performing. Just replace Gambhir with dravid/ shastri  and see them performing again.

People can criticize GG and they have their reason. It is amplified by his outspokenness, his past as BJP MP etc... hence plenty of SM support for axing him.

BUT.. why is there no criticism for shocking shot selections? These are not newbies, especially in home conditions. Pant, Jurel, Sai all got out playing horrendous shots in both matches which opened the floodgates. 246/6 to 489.. 70 0dd for 5 to 154, twice SA escaped when we should've pressed home the advantage. Hare brained selections definitely aggravated the situation. But GG can't be blamed alone.
