SA is sending development team as SAt20 is still going on, will send different side for CT25. Coetzee has pulled out.

 

This is just 4 match series and at max a side can play only 3 games. Its home conditions for Pak and NZ plays a series every year in pak so both the teams are familiar with conditions think these 2 will play the final

If CT coincided with  SA20 they would have skipped CT.  SA20 is their lifeline.

CT is a wastage of money resources by ICC,that event should have been scrapped long back

No point of having frequent icc events in short space of time

CT is happening after 8 years. It was scrapped in 2017 but they brought it back again. ICC being too greedy.

As it is , this will be a boring tournament. When you see our "veterans" it becomes even more intolerable.

Good initiative by PCB, mis those days of triangular and quadrangular series, it used to make cricket watching more fun. ICC should look into introducing triangular and quadrangular models in T20 intls.

Whatever happened to the yearly commonwealth Bank Tri series that we used to have in Australia? Those series used to be so much fun back in the days with the best of 3 finals. 

 

Don't even remember the last time we played an ODI tri series. Was it the one in West Indies where Thala got us home with one wicket left?

CT is just another excuse for having an yearly India-Pakistan money milking ceremony for the ICC. It serves no other purpose. 

 

Only way we could have made it a bit different is if we had the age cap for the squad (U23 or something like that) like they used to do for the confederations cup in soccer. But we all know how that rule would have been abused by Pakistani and Afghani age fudging uncles.
