Kohli is turning into the Andy Murray of cricket's Big 4. Murray hyped by Brit media and fans, same in Indian cricket.

Yup. Averaging in mid 40s with no significant, match turning innings put shim in that category. Probably just slightly ahead of the names you mentioned but way below the other 3. Now it wouldn't be a stretch to compare Kohli to Babar Azam. If Babar has 2-3 good years he'll be in the same category as Kohli.

Not suddenly, they have been experimenting since long. By resting Miller, Klassen, and all major players time to time, they make sure they give enough matches to every upcoming batsman they have. 

 

People are laughing at them losing bilaterals but they have been building a solid core. 

 

That said, there are some unfair calls in this their CT selection.
