Ultimate_Game Posted March 4 Posted March 4 I think it should be clear to everyone now that Kuldeep is as useless as tits on a bull when needed. He's Chahal 2.0 and KL of bowlers. Cometh a big match and he disappears. Have been saying for long that we need to back mentally tougher players and likes of Sundar instead of Kuldeep. No way Sundar goes wicketless today and concedes so many runs here. Kuldeep was the difference between India chasing a total of around 240 and 260 odd. Time selectors understand this and ditch him from white-ball cricket. Let him be a Test specialist. We've seen enough to know he's not worth backing. All he can do is bag minnows in group stages of a tourney or meaningless bilaterals. Hope ICF and selectors can see it clearly now. Back players with temperament. Frustrated, Manucrick, raki05 and 1 other 4
Chakdephatte Posted March 4 Posted March 4 He was dropped after a year of horrible performances and rightfully so. When he came back after his comeback with DC, we ended up criticising selectors who were only doing their duty. Chahal became the new easy target, and Kuldeep a hero. With players like him and Chahal, we have to compromise on some aspects.
Ultimate_Game Posted March 4 Author Posted March 4 In the final we have to replace him with Sundar. Sundar will give you figures of 1 or 2/40 off 8 overs and give you batting depth as well. Kuldeep is as useless as Chahal at the crunch. Manucrick 1
singhvivek141 Posted March 4 Posted March 4 Kuldeep doesn't seem to have recovered. On prime, he bowls 82-88k with dip and turn. Here he is just bowling 77-82k and his dip and turn is missing. He is looking lost and confused. His body language gives you a fair idea if he is in the zone. cowboysfan 1

He regresses at the crunch time and comes into his own in group stages and against minnows. Enough of him. Bring on Sundar who's mentally tougher. Don't want to see Kuldeep in India colors ever again. He can stick to Tests.

Thats another headache we will have once we play on home conditions. If we aren't careful, 0-3 can happen again on the home ground.
Lord Posted March 4 Posted March 4 Being consistently outbowled by Axar and Jadeja since his return, let alone Varun cricspirit, nevada, Lone Wolf and 1 other 1 3

Sundar needs to replace Kuldeep. More batting, better bowling and fielding. We simply can't lose if we play Sundar in place of Kuldeep in the finals. Plus Sundar is a wonderful PP bowler.
cowboysfan Posted March 4 Posted March 4 he was our best bowler ,probably the best bowler in all of T20 WC,something happened after that and he was never the same and the injury has done him no favors.

Number Posted March 4 Posted March 4 (edited) That's harsh. Hasn't been in the rhythm since his return from the injury. Edited March 4 by Number nevada 1

Took 2 big, very important wickets today. Now that he bats at number 8, I think he is a great asset for the team. Edited March 4 by Number Lord, Manucrick, AuxiliA and 1 other 4
kruiser Posted March 4 Posted March 4 This was needed. Now that @Ultimate_Game had created this thread, Kuldeep will do great in the finals! We have previous empirical data to support this! nevada and Ultimate_Game 2

I think these conditions don't suit wrist spinners who bowl around 82-85kph... Zampa too struggled when he bowled those speeds & so did Sangha. Only when Zampa bowled those fast flippers he looked threatening. Finch said you need to bowl around 90-95k to rush the batters here & deceive them. Kuldeep may find success in SA Australia more than he would here in Dubai. Varun type bowlers will like these conditions.. just like Abrar did singhvivek141 1

Frustrated Posted March 4 Posted March 4 Even a mental midget like Kela has finally started performing in a KO game. But Kuldeep, the eternal choker can't. Drop him for the Final. Rather hv H Rana or W Sundar or Arshdeep. Ultimate_Game 1
