Rahul Dravid was clear about not curtailing him. I understand that. But you can give tips about opposition bowlers. For instance Vaibhav is an out and out swing bowler. So cross batting against swing can be a low percentage option. This information can be fed to him without telling him to stop playing those shots Lord 1

They've to back him and tell him to choose his shots early in the innings. It's ok for him to be selective in his first 10-15 deliveries coz he's so destructive that he'll be able to damage the opponent when he has his eye in. If he continues go after every ball starting the first ball, he risks becoming a modern version of Afridi. Same is true for Arya, Abhishek, Jaiswal and all of the new-gen breed of destructive openers we have. There's a need to be better risk management to increase their chances of success. Even in a T20 you have to plan your innings and can't be a blind slogger like Pak tullas.

I think his first ball in IPL was an off side six. He will evolve far better than Kishan. He has such a great downswing.

Kishan is an all-rounder. He is a wk batsman. Comparing wicket keepers to specialist batsmen.

So WK's competition is WK, not a specialist batsman. Even around the world, there aren't many wks who can play as specialist batsmen. So what you said is not right. Wks aren't expected to bat like specialist batsmen. If they do, it's a bonus.

This guys give enough room against any line. Priyansh Arya is almost like Travis head in that. He gives just enough room to free his arm. Ultimate_Game 1

Jaiswal should be a certainty in T20s. And pick Abhishek followed by Arya, Mhatre and Auryavanshi. All of them are pretty good in T20s. IMO Samson doesn't get in as you would want these players as your opener and have KL as the wk down the order at 5 or 6. That way we can get more explosive openers in the team.
