I have heard the exact same from a friends brother in law who runs a fruit trading business from Srinagar.

These bastards are the locals who support infiltrators. And they are there by the thousands. Whatever action we take across the LoC. Each of these treasonous bastards must be taught a lesson. The final lesson.

Nothing - nothing can happen without internal traitors.

just replace with Pehelgam now.

I really hope that is not the case this time.Modi has been in power for more than 10 years and if he still unable to to act decisively then what is point of having him as PM.

Everyone believes  Gandhi, Nehru and congress are to be blamed for Kashmir mess. How is this guy Modi any different. There has to be strong response where Pakistan army should quake in its boots thinking for doing anything.

No more going to UN or US for mediation or complaining like school kids to teacher. No more of Pakistan saying show us the proof nonsense.

I don't want Bollywood to make more jingostic movies on this tragedy and make money.

That is impossible to weed out. Only solution is stopping Pakistan from helping these guys.Once they cut off their sources of getting weapons/other explosives many things would go away.

Military retaliation will come. But we need to be patient. Even if it takes 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, fine. Need to do that with proper planning and with surprise element. Pakistanis have beefed up army presence in eastern front, their air force is on high alert, their soldiers near border have been instructed to stay in bunkers.

I want revenge but a proper one, at minimum cost to us. Our braves are honorable men, their soldiers are jihadi pigs. I have full faith that our forces will meticulously plan a response and if given time, will strike with maximum efficiency. Meanwhile start going after internal traitors and not just in Kashmir, that's much easier and also very necessary.

Start controlling your emotions and think logically, moron.:whack2:

At this moment, if govt decides for a war. We should support it even if it's a prolonged war.

No point being an economic hub or a industrial economy when you can't retaliate.

Was Russia not aware of the sanctions ? Russia isnt a super economy, yet it engaged into Ukraine war and showed controlled aggression. Russia if wanted would have flattened Ukraine in one day...it has thay capacity. Yet it waged a low scale war to not destroy it completely.

Sometimes, we need to decide that war is the ultimate solution for peace. We can wait for couple of more years to become a 5 trillion economy. But we simply can't afford to lose our people even for a second.

Please remember "The battles which you don't fight, is the one whi h your kids are gonna fight". Lets not make the same mistake which we did in 1971 & 1999...when we gave away the captured territory back.

India has to project Kashmir as an integral part of the country.

That's the only way country can keep the strategically important land that is J&K.

I partly agree with you. I think we should not fall in the trap set up by Pak and China, they want to rake up Kashmir issue in International media and summit to show it as a area of conflict brought on by Indian forces wrt human rights/ aspiration of locals etc. Modi did right by developing Kashmir and promoting tourism to show the world that Kashmir not only is an integral part of India but a peaceful, developing region. But what he should have also done is not reduce security forces. With so much tourism and so many ppl visiting there security should have been tight and places where security couldn't be provided they should have given travel advisory to the tourists. That's where he failed, should have known better.

Too much democracy, too much freedom in Kashmir too early. I also hold milords responsible for this, they insert their worthless opinions in every matter, even when they have zero understanding. Why not place more value to advice of army veterans who have actually enforced peace in that region?

Call me twisted but I wish that instead of the poor middle class tourists, those 3 Kerala HC judges had died. Judiciary must be made to learn about the harsh realities outside their chambers. Someone must strike the fear of God in them, they think they are above reproach, experts in everything and can run the country.....bastards didn't even spare cricket and made a joke out of BCCI with the stupid CoA circus.

Seeing all this I am convinced that Sikhism was a Dharmic response to islamic barbarism. Sad that it did not spread beyond punjab. Imagine india with 40 percent sikh population. Would have been much harsh and strong on islamic barbarism.

Baad me jaaye economy and other aspects. Culture and way of life trumps everything.

Down here, in telugu lands, I find more vigour in christian pastors at countering islam than fattu hindu gurus.

After successful establishment of Khalsa Kingdom Sikhism was also drawn into political squabble.  That's what impacted its growth.  They had their own sects too.

Ranjit Singh in his conquests did ghar wapsi of many Muslims in Punjab but he didn't went hard on spreading the faith... Dogras soon entered the equation and large portion of the Army comprised of Hindu Jats and Rajput Dogras.

Mission was accomplished with Khyber and Punjab & Kashmir secured as per him.  Religion took a backseat

Canada is a disgrace of a country. If you can't take a stance here, you are worse than Taliban.

Yes, that's a short term action, we should absolutely go up escalation ladder. But we need to have a long term strategy in place, never again forget they are an enemy country, do not ease up when things cool down is all I am saying.. like they allowed Pakistani actors in Bollywood, who removed the ban and why ?
