Has been accurate, regularly hit 143 - 145 k, got zip and bounce off the deck, seamed the ball both ways.

 

Only criticism could be a few more yorkers and bumpers. His bad back does not allow him to bowl bumpers as freely as the 2016-22 period. 

 

So the only thing possible way a few more yorkers.

If that is called bowling well then I have nothing further to add. Let us see what he will do after tea Duckett is gone and he has two new batsmen at the crease.Others have created an opening for him let us see if he can impose himself on the match.

Bumrah playing or not playing does not make any difference.He will go missing in important moments as usual.

 

He will not be healthy enough to last whole series to create any impact on actual winning or losing the series in SENA.

 

As far as test cricket is concerned days of Bumrah winning overseas series are over. He will be mostly playing for his own stats as far as test cricket is concerned.

That's the truth. Went missing in whole innings. Started trundling later on.

Main difference between Bumrah in the 2nd innings and the 1st was that he did not use any bumpers or yorkers in the 2nd innings while he did so in the first. Hence he became too predictable. 

 

Was he having trouble with his body ?  His performance and fire dropping in the 2nd innings has been a regular feature since late 2024, NZ series.

 

Unless some quality support pacers are found, Bumrah will have a shorter career than expected.

Bumrah needed to bowl aggressively when there was nothing happening from the pitch. Bowl bouncers with field set according to that. By the time, they lost first wicket, we were practically out of the game.

May seem harsh but not opposed to dropping Nair, playing Kuldeep and strengthening the bowling and giving Reddy more of a chance as a batter who can bowl some overs.

 

From what I have seen Reddy’s bowling is not international class so maybe see if he has what it takes with the bat to average 40 with the bat.
