A message to bcci: need core of genuine quicks and wrist spinners

But India seriously need few genuine quicks and look to handle them with utmost care 

Apart from Kuldeep where are wrist spinners also if u play fast medium bowlers they need to work on their batting ala bhuvi.

Kaise develop karoge ?

 

Our pitches at home where we play 70% of our tests are made of cowdung, where we win in 1.5 days with the help of finger spinners.

Development of Batsmen playing long innings, wrist spinners , pacers learning to bowl with accuracy for long spells can only happen if we play on variety of pitches.

Must make every 140 k+ pacer and every wrist spinner play full Ranji seasons.

 

If they are in a state with too many established pacers or spinners then the BCCI should try to shift them to states where they will actually get to play.

 

Playing lots of FC cricket is what develops the body for bowling and makes it less prone to injury.

We have the best wristy in world cricket, someone who terrorized these Bazballers on pattas last year. Why are you not playing him? You may create the most awesome pool of X, Y, Z but what use if those weapons will never be put to use?

Need those 14-15 extra runs of Reddy/Shardul. 

 

I am sure if Kuldeep was playing he would have never let Carse do so much scoring in first innings 270-7 would mean 300 at max for England. Leggies are extremely useful against the tail.

Reddy isn't ready for this level yet, needs a couple of seasons of FC grind, more A tours.

Pitches should be like those which reward those who are willing to bend their back,more A tours and under19 under 22 tours should be done discarded or those in consideration should be allowed to play county cricket

It is not 90's that we do not have pool of genuine quicks. We have. Even a godforsaken team like Bihar has 2 genuine quicks who were bowling around 145-147k's. But where are they?

And you realize that the genuine quicks are ignored by design, not by mistake.

Not going to happen in Indian cricket.

Test match bowling requires a lot more discipline. Not bowling quick. Stokes and Archer maintained impeccable line and length for long periods. You need stamina control. They have to be tested for endurance before being brought on.

Even Kuldeep is not getting a game and bowlers who can bat are preferred over him.

 

Ideally Duleep Trophy ,Irani Trophy and A matches should be used to identify played s who can play a role in test team.

 

The Selectors preferred Mukesh Kumar over Kuldeep Sen ,while selecting the team.

 

Agarkar has wasted lots of time,matches on Mukesh Kumar, Avesh, etc
