Cummins also has some back injury, may not be in any shape to play immediately after Ashes. Aussies T20 team for 26 WC doesn't look that threatening all of a sudden, halwa bowling now that even Zampa is in steep decline.

Aus have been preparing for such eventuality in t20i cricket. They are stacking up heavy hitter in their batting line-up. multiple allrounders or batter who and bowl when needed.

Aus are compensating that by stacking their lineup with power hitters ,it's an all power batting lineup

They fancy to chase any target they are set with

They are on a terrific run. Almost like India's run in 2024/25.

They were supposed to be halwa team in 2023 world cup too, they ended winning that and then WTC. I would not under estimate Aussies in any world cup.

Aussies are much better in ODIs. They have struggled to figure out T20 format and only won the 21 edition because of Finch's luck with tosses.

Moreover they care much more about ODI WCs.

I disagree, they do care about t20 world cups also. They just have not been good enough in those and luck which has been major part of their success in odis has eluded them in t20 except 2021.
