West Indies tour of NZ

Dhoni was way too chill and laid back, very good defensive tactics as well, be it in white ball or the 8-1 field against Aussies in 2008 Mohali. Great trait to have in white ball, but need to be more proactive and aggressive to pick 20 wickets in tests.

Ind and Eng have the most jingoistic, chest thumping sports media. Big turn off for true sports lovers.

Eng still take the cake imo. Even hyping mediocre.

Indian media picks few 'stars' and ignores other performers

That's true. No one even remembers Kusal Perera's 153 in SA and still hype Stokes' greatest knock.

Knocks vs SA are mostly forgotten

This doesn't match with SA's cricket domination

Eng media is quite melodramatic, they paint a knight level picture for their cricketers to engage masses,it's a failed attempt though

People get confused about that. He is still the best street smart captain ever to play cricket in the LOI format.  He was not really blessed with great bowling unit like we had in the last 2 world cups.

Dhoni wouldn't have have played or showed confidence on that many pacers anyway in the first place

NZ are forced to dig deep into their pace reserves . O Rourke, Matt Henry, Matt Fisher, Nathan Smith are all out. Jamieson doesn't play Tests anymore.

And now, Blair Tickner is out with a shoulder dislocation and they are down to 3 bowlers for this match. Also dropped 2 catches on day 1.

Dropped multiple catches against England as well.

When India tours, their best, quickest fast bowlers will be fit and they'll be taking screamers left, right and centre

A bald guy with a white headband might be the best look for a fast bowler :phehe:

West Indies go from amazing Test match results - draw in the 1st test and win in Gabba to gutless collapses like this. Its really a team of you never know what youre gonna get

Only reason they were competitive in the first match was because they were batting against a 2 man attack.

Whatever the reason is still it is very good result for weak team like WI

Beautiful day of test cricket in NZ/WI series. NZ 334-1,  just one wicket to grandpa Roach and none for the overrated Seales.

How is WI cricket doing Lloyd, Richards, Holding? yuk yuk..... Enjoy!
