Dumb shots by green and smith, momentum with england now

Smith's was just a good catch. Labu played a poor shot

Forget his age, would he have been better bowler on display in this odi series if he had played.

Apparently, Steve Smith's nickname is "Smudge" (at least according to this end-of-day interview with Weatherald: "Obviously Greeny backed himself…[he] probably would have his shot back if he could, we all can when we get out. But up to then, I think he put a lot of pressure on them, same with Smudge [Smith] as well."

Is it a reference to:

(a) The smudge on the ball from sandpapering it?

(b) The smudge on his reputation for being a serial cheater?

(c) The smudge on his face from crocodile tears of remorse?

(d) All of the above?

Australia seemed bitten by Bazball bug. Two wickets gifted away.

Still if they can get 100 run lead it's their game to lose

I think it is probably has something to do with at what point they want to bowl being a pink ball test and all.

The series is meaningless. No way he's making it to 2027.

If Prasidh doesn't work, we find another youngster, not go back to him

You found that out today?

Its because 'Smith's in England have that nickname. Hussey picked that up in county cricket and then it carried on from there

Today could be the last day of this Test, expect England to implode in their second innings.

looks a good batting pitch. Should go to day 4

Every person with Smith name in England is called smudger. It comes from there.

Carey is underrated

Dropped very first ball lol He has a significant vulnerability when right handers bowl round the wicket. Their line is not good.

He scores verry important runs. Not related to this test only. Batting with the tail is an art not many are living up to these days
