Speaking administrative wise .is eh corrupt or anti development or what Whole IAC ( which i too donated in initial days) was a con just like Arab Spring or Georgia or Ukraine whereby a weak ruling government can be toppled or threatened to be toppled ie held hostage to cow tow US interests. Basically put a Yunus in India for a small time , but its more than enough time to just alter Indias course

Mamata came to power as pro farmer pro rural people and anti industry .she couldn't shake it of for political reasons and industrialist didn't trust her. Well Budget for industry power 1700 crore Budget for Minority welfare: 5750 Crore. so ehat do u expect? Her math was simple. Get 100% Muslim vote and hope that there is just enough hindus who willl NOT see her appeasement politics. Edited May 8 by mishra Lord 1

Saavdhani Hati Durghatana Ghati Not every protest..is a fake protest ..or artificial. Nirbhaya protest. Corruption protest farmers protest caa protest rg kar protest...they all start for a reason. Then vested interest might funnel money. It is easy to make accusations...and some likes Arab spring or colored revolution has cia hallmarks...but in this specific case..kejriwal has 0 chance of becoming pm..us has zero reasons to get rid of MMS ...so I don't see how we can say he was cia funded. Trace the money and make a case like BJP created fraud case about liquor scam before election and after election it was thrown away. Gollum 1

Too many scams that time, and people got fed up, needed an outlet. Anna Hazare had good intentions IMO. It is a different matter that some of the other people associated with that movement had their own political ambitions. It was a peaceful democratic movement, based on satyagraha, hunger strikes. Also gentlemanly on the part of MMS to allow such a protest. Edited May 9 by Gollum straighttalk 1

[1, 2] Funded Entity: The funding was received by Kabir, an NGO co-founded by Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia, not by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) directly. Purpose & Timing: The funds were used for projects related to the Right to Information (RTI) Act, films, and awareness campaigns, with major funding received around 2005 and 2008. Admissions: In 2011, Kejriwal admitted to the funding but stated that the association was from years prior to his formal entry into politics and that the funds were fully accounted for.

India is too complicated for deep state to force regime change. We aren't homegeneous like most of the affected countries. Any critic of Adani/Vedantai is labelled a deep state guy/organization but I don't think the criticism lacks merit. Edited May 9 by Gollum

Jiaganj triple murder case: Man sentenced to death “A three years fight has come to an end. The court held that the murder is the rarest of rare cases. Firstly, it was a well-planned murder. The woman was in an advanced stage of pregnancy, which means he committed four murders,” said Special Public Prosecutor Bivas Chatterjee. A fast-track court in Berhampur on Thursday awarded the death sentence to a man convicted in a 2019 triple murder case in Jiaganj. Utpal Behra alias Manoj, a resident of Sagardighi, was convicted on Tuesday for killing Bandhu Prakash Pal (41), a government schoolteacher; his wife Beauty Pal Mondal (31), and their son 7-year-old son Bandhu Angan Pal at their home in the Lebubagan area of Jiaganj in Murshidabad district in October 2019. Beauty Pal was eight months pregnant at the time of her murder. “A three years fight has come to an end. The court held that the murder is the rarest of rare cases. Firstly, it was a well-planned murder. The woman was in an advanced stage of pregnancy, which means he committed four murders,” said Special Public Prosecutor Bivas Chatterjee. Police said that Utpal, who was arrested nearly a week after the murders, decided to eliminate the family after he discovered that Bandhu Prakash had not submitted a premium of Rs 72,000 against an insurance policy that his father had bought from the family. Bandhu Prakash used to run the insurance business in his wife’s name. Utpal was seen at the house of Bandhu Prakash and then escaping from there, police had claimed. Soon after killing the victims, he fled leaving behind the murder weapon, a large knife, an insurance policy, and a bag, the police said in their chargesheet that was filed in January 2020. A supplementary chargesheet was also submitted to the court in December of that year. A total of 42 witnesses were examined during the trial. The Special Public Prosecutor said various electronic evidence CCTV footage and mobile tower locations helped the police in zeroing in on Utpal Edited May 9 by Gollum randomGuy 1

Gollum Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Kuch bhi ho jaye, keep the opportunist fox Sourav Ganguly away from administration. Guy never took a stance in politics but reaped all sorts of benefits from both TMC and BJP. Contrast that to Ashok Dinda who put his neck on the line, got attacked by TMC goons many times, had to be given Y+ security by centre. randomGuy 1

I remember how Jagmohan Dalmiya was his mentor/godfather, fast-tracked him in national team, helped him become captain, always shielded him. Later in one of the CAB (Cricket Association of Bengal) elections in mid 2000s, Ganguly ditched his godfather and supported a top cop because that guy had CPM's backing, and Ganguly wanted some favors from the government related to his property in Behala. That election was widely covered in the state, Bengalis were aghast at the betrayal that time. Dalmiya won that election against all odds, and forgave Ganguly. Edited May 9 by Gollum randomGuy 1
