Kartik Sharma: Watch out!

Looks something special for a 19 year old from Rajasthan!! Has dominated in all formats and is a six hitter!! I believe CSK has their sights on him for IPL!

 

He shoukd be fast tracked to emerging / India A type teams , since he has had a good run in the domestic tournament !

 

If not for a few months would have been playing u19 with mhatre / suryavanshi in the upcoming world cup , but he has set his eyes on bigger things !!

Urvil is from 2016 u19 batch, same as Pant

Kartik Sharma has played agressively in the last season too..look sto have a great hitting ability..

I would like him to continue consistent performances and get fast tracked into higher levels..

yup. this & also spinners. Except Kuldeep, we don't seem to have anyone. India used to have spin pairs in the past, Anil & Bhajii, then Aswin & Jaddu. now we only seem to have kuldeep with Jaddu at the end of his career.

Not sure may have been to Trial camps, few teams are calling the players who are having impactful smat.

Saw few highlights, he has power game at-least for domestic levels, but does not look fully polished. IPL can help him there.

Few mannerisms looked like dhoni-like

 

 

Few wk batter in domestics now, should get chance in IPL and Ind side. Ind needs to move on (in white-ball) from current rotation of wk after t20i wc, be it Jitesh, sanju, kl, Kishan, Pant, jurel. Else it will be similar situation where Ind had to bring DK in t20is and somehow Parthiv made a comback or was sleected when dhoni was not there. Or Ind got KS barath in tests

yes finger injury , though not serious but he is out of SMAT

His life is set in IPL lol 14 crores not a good omen. Same price they paid for Deepak chahar.
