Gollum Posted December 21, 2025 Posted December 21, 2025 Simply outclassed by a vastly superior team on the big day. Congrats to the boys in green. Also no need to give much importance to IPL, most of it is hot air. Never seen guys like Tilak, Shreyas, Axar, Varun do much in that tourney but they have the clutch gene. Lone Wolf and nitinbwj 1 1

They reserve their best for the final while we underperform, too much fear of failure in Indian system. That's why Pakistani fans always wanted to meet us in the knockouts after losing in the 1st round. They know Indian teams are vulnerable in the KOs. nitinbwj, Gollum and raki05 2 1
Vickydev Posted December 21, 2025 Posted December 21, 2025 Just need a 200 run partnership from here on.

Sean Bradley Posted December 21, 2025 Posted December 21, 2025 Sameer Minhas has been so good in this match, that’s one to invest for Pakistan in the future, from our lot Aaron George is sublime, he has a gift of timing like Rohit. Apart from Aaron u don’t see anyone making it big, Suryavanshi will be there in the Indian T20s, but the guy is a bit of mindless slogger. pkmmamks, Lone Wolf, nitinbwj and 1 other 1 3

U-19 WC also I remember the 2006 final where we couldn't chase 100 odd. That was one of our strongest ever teams with Rohit, Pujara, Jadeja and Piyush Chawla. Chawla was the rage back then, courtesy his famous googly to Sachin in Challenger Trophy. Sarfaraz led that Pak team as well. Tillu 1

Good news for Pooks is that their next gen will keep them competitive. PCB with lesser budget than BCCI is doing better job in grassroots that our commies and media overhype us about. Imran was a visionary who decided to slash their domestic structure. He got villified by corrupt Pak administrators but now they will bear the fruits of that legendary decision. Gollum 1

In 2007 WT20 final we played our worst match of the tournament, even Mohali 2011 SF was way inferior to our F and QF performances. India still has the quality to beat them in KOs, gulf in ability is huge, but can't deny that there is a world of difference between how we play in group stages and KOs against them. Even this Asia Cup, it took something special from Tilak and Dube. Edited December 21, 2025 by Gollum Lone Wolf and Tillu 2

It's an ODI game ffs. 66/4 in 8 telle me that they are aiming for 160-170 in 20. Wtf kind of approach this is. Joshi and that kanitkar should atleast tell them about these things.

Pressure on Pak players is also similar, if not more. After 1996 QF defeat, Wasim Akram couldn't go back to Pak for many months, was in hiding. Their politicians, PCB chiefs also overhype the India clash, make big claims and award/cash announcements.
