Nikhil_cric Posted March 27 Posted March 27 Its high time India pivots towards China significantly. We need Chinese technology to build better roads, much more efficient waste management in cities(although South Korea is better), urban planning in general , reduce transmission losses with UHV transmission deployed at scale, AUSC coal pants with near 50% efficiency. They are far more rational actors in the contemporary world than the West. Just pay lip service to Trump and co but they can't be taken seriously at this point.

India is way too dependent on the West to pivot away. It's just the way it is. For Industrialisation phase we need the West more than ever. Nehru with socialist ideas initially toyed with the idea but he realised it just isn't possible and hence NAM came into the existence. Even in post Korean War Nehru and Indian soldiers were more sympathetic to the northern folks than South and even clashed with South Korean PoWs. Syngman Rhee developed a personal hatred for India from there. It was a valuable lesson for Indian MEA to not meddle in foreign affairs way too much.

There was a time when we needed the West but China is currently the most industrialized nation in the world and their technology is cheaper than expensive Western alternatives. I don't mean a hard pivot in terms of aligning with China strategically. But with net FDI falling off a cliff since 2021 , we need to open up to Chinese investment in key sectors. I don't think we'll have a choice.
MK55 Posted March 27 Posted March 27 Massive miscalculation by allowing the deadline to extend by 10 days. Secondly this has lost whatever “leverage” there was to begin with. The markets gonna make this pay now. You’re gonna see almost no reaction to tweets from now on unless there’s concrete action.

Bhai, Thats what I have been saying along. Iran is not Venezuela. Trump wants oil from Iran. Israelis want to send Iran back to stone ages. If I was BiBi, I will figure out a way to manage the American blowback and then ask IDF to bomb places where Iranians are getting money from. That is all oil and Gas sites. Edited March 27 by mishra

Have seen all of his videos over last two years. Guy is a beast. As far as bias and propoganda is concerned, I have realized that there is nothing on this planet that isn't propoganda. It's depth of thought process that I care for. He was bang on about Strait of hormus and de salinization. Edited March 27 by ravishingravi

Human minds are so flexible you and twist and turn their minds any way we want. That's why the struggle to reach their minds through competing narratives.

Through this video, he is creating confusion and division in the minds of Americans, Israelis and the Arabs. 2. You won't see him criticising CCP much if not ever. 3. It is not bad to listen, one might gain some knowledge, plus he is a good story creater and a good story teller. But there's no doubt at all he is doing propaganda for CCP. I include nuclear energy in renewable too. we are building at least 10 nuclear plants and even build more if we Crack Thorium too. China is far ahead in this, just in 2025 they installed 430 GW of Solar and wind ,for contrast the TOTAL installed capacity in all of Karnataka is only 33 GW and that includes Coal.

What I am saying is they should have gone beyond the deal, liberalized their country, there was no way they were going to beat US & Israel. Instead they should have sought something akin to Abraham accords.
