I love Rinku. Great team man to have. But he just does not infuse confidence especially against spin and pace off deliveries. Just doesn't have to raw power to muscle low pace deliveries. I would take Suryavanshi who has insane bat swing.

Indian services industry is basically labor arbitrage. Sell the very poor people's labor, be it construction in the Gulf or IT elsewhere at very cheap prices and still make a profit.

 

Indian manufacturing is basically again cheap items which are produced with even cheaper labor. Then there are items geared to the local market like textiles, utensils, footwear etc for people  who are a large percent of world population.

 

There are a few gems of companies like Bharat Forge which dominates world forging but they are very few and hardly anybody knows about them.

Exactly 1991 reforms prioritised service sector much more than manufacturing.. not that restrictions were not there for manufacturing before 91 in fact more severe.

 

Our genius leaders and Babus thought as developed countries were service sector dominated so let's take a short cut... And that backfired spectacularly.

Since McCallum has become head coach, England has been running into all sorts of trouble like we saw today. Unsure if coach or talent lacking, but something ain't right

Suggested this before the t20i wc team was picked, the onlything that could be an issue is Vaibhav is not exp. at all for wc like evnt so can come under-pressure in some big situations facing top intnl bowlers.

 

Bt he has power game , can hit both spin and pace. Can hit down the ground and short pitch ball which is needed fr a finsiher.

In white-ball they are trying to emulate what their previous team did, it was team of lot of special batters all peaking at same time.

!st most of the top teams have caught up to that, second the new eng batter are not at same level of their previous team was.

 

It takes alot of time to develop such kind of batting skills, that team in Odis was scoring and chasing 300 like they have cheat-code to it.

Roy, Baristrow, Morgan, Buttler ... ppl may not remember them for a long time but they changed white-ball cricket.

He played archer with ridiculous ease in nets. Besides in T20 you get the lowest quality bowlers as teams usually go for bowlers who can bat a bit.  He did thrash prasidh and siraj. Also he is likely to have way better reflexes than these 30 year olds. I am sure he won't play out a maiden like Kela.
