jf1gp_1 Posted March 7 Posted March 7 2016 final which WI won is the best in my opinion. England had all but won the game yet to finish it off in 4 deliveries was unbelievable. Vk1, Stan AF, Forward Defence and 3 others 1 1 4
Ultimate_Game Posted March 7 Posted March 7 (edited) 1. 2007 - Inaugural one and beating Pak was the cherry on top 2. 2024 - Greatest comeback with SA needing 30 off 30 with 6 wkts in hand 3. 2016 - Brathwaite smoking 4 consecutive 6s in the last over to snatch it away from Eng 4. 2012 - Samuels masterclass in helping WI put some sort of a score and SL weren't able to chase it 5. 2022 - Not that great but better than the other ones. 6. 2009 - Not that close 7. 2021 - The match was a foregone conclusion at the toss thanks to "Dew"bai. Even NZ knew the match was done at the toss 8. 2014 - Yuvraj killed the match for us and it was over with SL needing just 120 odd to win 9. 2010 - The most lopsided final with no contest Edited March 7 by Ultimate_Game Manucrick and deepdynamo 2

Journeyman cricketer achieved it 10 years ago in the '16 final more than the runs it was about an unseen mindset where hitting 4 6s in last over of a final can be achieved. On thursday we all knew India had won as soon as Dube had 30 to defend but it was because of that '16 final over you had that hint of doubt, could they get 30 ?? and thats my reasoning for rating that game so highly. Just changed how t20 is played. Edited March 7 by jf1gp_1 Vk1 1

Maybe put 2016 at top and 2024 a close second. Manucrick 1
Norman Posted March 7 Posted March 7 Even as a neutral...id pick the 2007 one. 2016 was very good too but the vibes of 2007 were elite. Manucrick 1

vvvslaxman Posted March 7 Posted March 7 Nothign can beat 2007. India vs Pakistan down to last over.. I don't think anything can beat this in years.

G_B_ Posted March 7 Posted March 7 I was watching the final in the university canteen on the weekend in 2007. Remember sri lankan fans supporting pak. Post win trolled those lankan fans badly rather than the pakistani fans. putrevus 1

Defending 30 off 30 with 6 wkts in hand would be a cake-walk and would be lower probability in defending than 18 in one over. There're instances of a team hitting 3-4 6s in the last over but defending 30 off the last 5 overs of a T20 with wkts in hand is extremely rare. 2. India bias as for me there would be a bias in favor of India matches.
