Bd is currently 10th ranked ODI team , they have to be in top 8 to directly qualify for Odi WC-27.

 

This is a good series for them to earn some big points as Pak is much higher ranked Odi team #4, think there are more points for winning vs higher ranked team.

Hos is Pak ranked #4??? I can see a number of teams better than them - India, Aus, Eng, SA, NZ. The best they can hope for is 6.

Pak team does a thing something reverse ICC trophy cycle, Pak team will start doing better in t20is if it was Odi wc cycle and if it was t20i wc cycle they will start doing better in Odis.

 

This has been a pattern for a long time, they were t20i ranked 1/2 during think 2019 odi wc cycle and were no where in Odis.

Pak team had 3-4 debutant, its more of a developmental side. But the new pak batters does not have good technique, and its not the issues that t20 batting style brings in to traditional bating technique but fundamental issues
