This guy's lines were my favorite in the whole movie

Same. I am so glad they made Arjun Rampal character look like a frustrated clown with personal issues than  some warlord/ ghazi.

both the director via this character and the actor himself knocked it out of the park lol.

also maybe 2nd time I am impressed with Rampal’s acting, I liked him in Om Shanti Om also. @Mariyam you will be happy to know that,

Not a good t20 innings from Jaiswal in this game. Have to bat like sanju+Abhishek/Allen+Seifert/Head+Abhishek.

Intent should be from both ends, he is playing like as if he is kolhi, kolhi has played his t20i cricket.though its just 1 game but Jaiswal should adapt the new way or he will find himself not lagging behind others.

What are you talking about. How many innings Pandya and Kishan have struggled at low SR.

Jaiswal has 150 plus T20SR.. Not many Indians are higher.

He can be easily contained if they bowl tight test match lines on the off side. He doesn't have the bat swing nor the bat speed to score at a high SR if they keep bowling these deliveries.

And Abhishek and Suryavanshi can get out with good bowling. Thats a moot point. We saw what few bad games did to Abhishek. This is the first game of the tournament and I am glad Jaiswal took his time and dint throw it in frustration.

Bat swing is not everything. Jaiswal has enough ability to hit sixes. People hit sixes with short arm jab, flicks.. no need of extravagant bat swing if you can time the ball..

Jaiswal is striking at 160 SR for the last three seasons while scoring 1600 plus runs. I want to see how many did better. And he hit 70 sixes during those 3 seasons.

To hit 6s continuously with just a jab needs a lot of power game, even player like Marsh and Allen does not have that game where jabs can consistently go for 6s.

Abhishek and Vaiabhav are at diff level in t20 batting.

Jaiswal also hit 6s only when its a full swing of the bat, his bat comes out an angle when he is playing in the air (straight back or anything on offside) , you will also hear a tinny sound when he hits in the air. He does not hit every ball right from the middle with full face of the bat.

Travis Head's bat comes at an angle but he gives it everything thats where his hits from even bottom of the bat goes for 4/6

Jaiswal hit 6s vs pace on hook/pull or to the mid-on with full swing of the bat. and vs spin he hit 6s with sweep-shot or if the bowler has over pitched to him.

They should try him/ddp in middle order for this odi wc, need Lh batter in the batting line-up

Yes too good a batsman we cannot afford to loose by playing unnecessarily in t20s(where we have guys),

We have absolute necessity in odis and tests, we need him there where we can't fit Abhi and Vaibhav

CSK was a boring team then and is a boring team  now.

funnily their most entertaining part that is missing right now   is a 60 year  old playing tuk tuk :hysterical: @velu @The Realist @vvvslaxman

The old man's (non)retirement drama is more entertaining than their cricket!

They milked it enough, now people are getting bored.
Since 2022 I am hearing if this would be his last. He'll be 45 in few months, should join as the coach, motivator and leave the spot for youngsters. Specially if Sanju is in the scene now, right guy to lead CSK till 2030-31.
