rkt.india Posted April 2 Posted April 2 "There comes a time in every fast bowler's career when they are plagued by injuries. Perhaps I was going through that very phase," Tyagi told ESPNcricinfo. "Over the last four or five years, I was getting injured repeatedly. After regaining fitness, whenever I would resume bowling and play a few matches, I would get injured once again. At that time, I simply couldn't understand what was happening to me. "I suffered from shin splints [a persistent pain in the calves], and the discomfort would intensify whenever I ran in. Whenever I resumed playing cricket after recovering from various injuries, this pain would inevitably return. After that, I travelled to Bengaluru to consult with Ashish Kaushik [the former India physiotherapist]. He worked on modifying my running mechanics - specifically how I run. I had to overhaul my running technique, my mid-foot landing, and several other aspects. https://www.espncricinfo.com/story/ipl-2026-kartik-tyagi-is-back-at-the-ipl-with-kkr-1529932 express bowling, Need4Speed and Mosher 1 2

rkt.india Posted April 2 Author Posted April 2 I still don't get why he changed this action. He was bowling express pace with this action. Picked two hattricks in UP league. Hitting 150 regularly in SMAT. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DR7jsVcErBG/?igsh=amFlbWxsbDVxbGl5
Ultimate_Game Posted April 2 Posted April 2 Lacks control. Bowls way too many full tosses. In intls he would be hammered for 6s.

Not many can hit 145+ low full tosses for sixes. It's easily better than bowling length. If you are missing yorkers, low full toss is a better option at pace. express bowling and tapandrun 2
cricketfan28 Posted April 2 Posted April 2 I will only believe when he delivers at international stage ...tired of these

Let's not create a false narrative about poor bowling.

They were thigh level juicy ones. Bumrah gets away due to his action and his change in pace. Tyagi has none of the uniqueness Bumrah has. There's a reason Tyagi's scorecard reads 1/48 off 4 where Vaibhav and Muzzarabani outbowled him.

Those kind of deliveries only looks good when out-come is good. Blessing is v.good bowler would have been highly rated if was playing for some big team, bowls hard length from a v.high release point bowls lively pace 135-140kmph and now has added slower ones too.

Nahin Tyagi has control issues. Seeen that in the first game and here as well. What he bowled weren't difficult full tosses. Any SENA batter would've cleared the stadium with those. He was lucky he was in front of Reddy who could only manage a couple of boundaries.

vvvslaxman Posted April 2 Posted April 2 Nobody cares about output in IPL. Ferguson all travel here. That shouldn't really bother us. T20 is all about choosing the right ball and bowl. I don't think he shouldn't be tthinking about it now. He should just bowl fast alternating his length. Slow ball should be a surprise. Archer bowled so many slow balls and got thrashed. tapandrun 1

Tyagi bowled 4 full tosses in the over and they were high full tosses not low ones. He bowled similar full tosses in the last match as well. I see that lack of control and he needs to work on it.
