Ultimate_Game Posted June 27 Posted June 27 4/58 off 19 overs on a flat wkt against SL-A. Performed well so far and showing why he won his team Ranji Trophy and was the standout pacer over the last 2 Ranji seasons. Should be taken to Eng, NZ or SA where the ball seams and swings. NameGoesHere Posted July 3 Posted July 3 As an aside, the quality of writing of the original article is so bad- stentorian, judgmental without being balanced, offering information without sounding knowledgeable. One wonders about the credentials of this ‘journalist’. Click on their name- Even their self write up is clumsy and cringe. Seriously if journalists were subject to the same standards as our sportspersons, 80 per cent of them would be without a job. In Pakistan, 99 per cent.

BacktoCricaddict Posted July 5 Posted July 5 Bowled 6 economical overs in 2nd inning of A match when Brar took 3. Maybe a good support guy but no more?
tapandrun Posted July 5 Posted July 5 His top speeds are 130 kmph , such bowlers does not work in itnl cricket. Specially in Ind conditions. Ball is not going to swing or pitches wont have assistance for him. If his skills are suited for Sena then he has enough domestic exp, to plug into playing 11 for those tours. He can not be permanent member 15. SA/Aus/NZ/Eng they do not keep an extra spinner all the times in the 15 just because they can be useful in sc and sc like condition. They plug them into 11 when they tour sc or sc like places. singhvivek141 and express bowling 2

But Mohammad Abbas takes a lot of wickets somehow on all surfaces. For a trundler 22 average is impressive bit like Robinson who often operates at 79 mph. He also has decent average.

Md Abbas can bowl wobble seam, cross seam and is more skilled than Nabi. Nabi is a channel bowler like Anshul Kamboj, Pankaj Singh

Age is not on his side. In case if he plays he gotta start making an impact from first innings. Edited August 3 by vvvslaxman

I can still go with Richard Hadlee or Shaun Pollock, but Dale Steyn is bit too much for a 120-130kph trundler. Steyn will hit those speeds in his 50s. BTW...out of context, was watching Morne Morkel bowl an over in Khatron ke Khiladi season opener..he was still operating at 141-143k (though I doubt the speed gun, but still it was rapid). express bowling and Mosher 2
