Cheeranjeevi + Pawan Kalyan had some gains but not enough to propel them to cm position. Dmdk Shivaji Ganesan etc we know what happened. Chirag Paswan might be cm one day. Another actor. Udhayana of dmk too might be cm one day. On an international stage i think there are many examples. Regan Arnold S in usa come to mind. Zelensky too was a comedian/performer/tv actor.

Ntr started his party in March 1982 and was cm in Jan 1983 in an era where there was no instagram and even newspaper circulation was limited due to literacy concerns. Influence of film industry remains contained to a few states.

bsriharsha Posted May 10 Posted May 10 Really doesn't matter who becomes a politicians. It's not as if the so called IIT-IIM civil servant arvind kejriwal did anything worthwhile. As long as Vijay has a clear view of what he wants to do and is guided well by the existing apparatus in Tamil Nadu, he will do fine. There are some states in India where it hardly matters who the CM is or which party they come from.

Selecting someone who allegedly was associated with multiple scams and ULFA is also genius move.
