Maybe they should experiment with Kookaburra ball.SG ball with hits pronounced seam is making both spin and fast bowlers equally lazy.

They should stop making  bunsen burners.

Only Mumbai and Dharamsala are true bouncy pitches

This is where A tours and county cricket can help these pacers. Even Ishant improved massively after that

One more thing I missed is to improve the ground dimensions.

We have tingu tingu boundary dimensions and under bouncy conditions even a slight mishit will travel.

Chinnaswamy, Dharamshala, Wankhede are small.

Raipur, Jaipur, Chepauk are some good stadiums with decent boundary size where a bouncy pitch will help the quick fast bowlera.

Can these young fast bowlers who has potential but has to sit out in fc matches due to seniority bias go play and play County cricket? I am not aware of the process, is it only big names that are preferred? If not then they can try there to get good experience and bowl long spells to be in rhythm.

No need to be intnl test player to play county, think only exception is Aus.

To be fair Shami and Umesh didnt need anye of that to do well in India. Even in flat 2023 world cup pittches he bowled exceptionally well. We cant move earth to make our 150k bowler to look good. They have to learn to take pitch outnof the equation. Moshin was near unplayable in one of the IPL.

There is unlikely to be much demand for Indian fast bowlers from county sides especially those who are inexperienced at the top level. There are enough domestic options always available to do an adequate job. That is why most Indian players signed tend to be batsmen or spinners. The pace bowlers have largely been those who have made their international debut like Ishant, Umesh, Siraj etc. Navdeep Saini was only signed up short term for 2 county games.

ENgland has an organic supply of quick bowlers. Same with NZ. THey are becoming like SA. Australia is the one that are behind in this area. Callum vidler was bowling at 145k plus even at u19 level. But they played Neser in the Ashes. England hs bowlers that are ready. THere is no "on the job" training for them.

Gurnoor was 5x more threatening than Siraj and 3x more threatening than Prasidh in the practice match.

But GG did not have the guts to play him.

Unless a senior is injured or ill, he has no chance of getting in. That's the way. Better to accept it and move on.

Then there is no point in following a team which promotes inefficiency and mediocrity.

Been happening forever. It's especially discouraging that they didn't play Brar even with Siraj nursing a side strain or some such condition, risking Siraj's health and Brar's development.

Also there is no plan for future.Bumrah is injured,Shami is not being considered.Akashdeep , Harshit are injured.

This was ideal condition for Gurnoor to make debut.

That's shocking, When they are bowling in nets practice match, why can't the coach identify who is bowling well.

I have seen mostly the coach are interested in star players are young players are left to themselves.

Usually young bowlers ie Gurnoor, Aaquib are just there to give bowling practices and coaches have predecided to omit them

Because it is considered an insult to senior players or totally shutting the door on them when you replace them with a younger guy. This antiquated misguided attitude is detrimental to the team.

Bro, I lost all interest in this test series when these idiots didn't pick Gurnoor.

Sorry but what happened to the other pacers who you were supporting and hyping?
Prasidh ? Wayward and expensive
Avesh? Who?
Mohsin ? lol
Umran ?

We are not promoting inefficiency and mediocrity, we are inefficient and mediocre. You keep on changing names once your hyped players fall to the ground, this wont change reality bro.

There is no need to curse team management when the talent itself is subpar.

The only way we can have a good pace attack is if we stick to same mediocrities until the time they mature and turn into sensible bowlers. We do not have any upcoming potentially great pacer.

Bro, this reminds me of the days when a military medium Prabhakar was preferred over a fiery Srinath for quite some time.

Thought those days were behind us.
