I don't think leaving Gurnoor out is Agarkar's fault since the coach and captain decide the playing XI and Agarkar might be the one who selected Gurnoor in the squad. GG and Gill just aren't keen to use Gurnoor as we saw in England where even a guy like Prince Yadav was bowling ahead of him

While I am disappointed with Brar not getting selected, I cannot blame Gmabhir or Gill here.

 

If Brar is selected over Prasidh then it should be end of Prasidh in Indian colors. You cannot passed over a debutant and still be in the team

YES a 100 times.

 

Siraj is looking unfit and gently putting it there at 128 k average speed. Needs rest. 

 

Gurnoor's extra pace and bounce will get wickets in tough situations.

Brar is the best short ball bowler we have,there is no reason he cant play in the 2nd Test.

No fast bowler gets exposed in these conditions.Spinners were doing heavy lifting versus a very weak SL team.

 

Brar will not do anything special over the two guys who have played in first test.Siraj picked up wickets in first spell in both innings and he was not tested , it does not mean he wants to sit out.

 

Prasidh took two wickets so he is okay and Siraj has to go . SL fast bowler took more wickets than Indians.

But people wanted Gurnoor ahead of PRasdham in the first test. Now we have changed tune :) Team culture doesn't work that way. You can' t arbirtrarily drop players based on match to match form. It will completey destroy the team spirit.   This is no different from Indai carrying Abhishek despite a string of low scores. You cannot make even senior players insecure by chopping and changing.

Am not sure this rule should apply to fast bowlers. Rotating them is a good thing.

 

I can't say this enough  ... for fast bowlers, rotating is not chopping/changing/dropping. Keep everybody in the scheme of things and go with the hot hand. Maybe test cricket should introduce in-match substitutions for fast bowlers :-).
