Yeah it was announced a while ago.  BCCI knew it in adavance and has scheduled both 4 day matches for India A in Galle.

 

Jaiswal should be playing those as he is anyways dropped from UK tour.

Even Sundar, KL, Kuldeep etc. should have been playing that instead of UK tour. 

 

If we go short in prep, another embarassing whitewash awaits. We can't keep getting these annual whitewashes in SC conditions at least.

He still is a couple of years younger than them. He will be in the team permanently from next year, no matter the result. If Rohit stinks it too much in the leadup, might get chance in 2027 itself.

Since Sundar bowls few overs per series and does not get to bat if top batters get runs, Jaiswal can take that role. Play him in middle overs at least. He can bowl a few as needed.

I agree, lot of things will happpen till then.Jaiswal if he had worked on his bowling, he could have easily replaced guy like Sundar in the team.Sundar is just making numbers  god knows why they are playing him in whiteball cricket.

By the time world cup happens Sooryavanshi will dispatch Rohit if not Jaiswal.

I was saying yesterday. Old models get replaced all the time not because they were bad but new improved models have arrived. The former great models did their time and solved their purpose. Even if they still function we are looking forward.

Sundar in team again , why ???

 

Play jaiswal in the mo, sundar does not bowl much in anycase so its not like team is losing some overs. And use jaiswal leg-spin see if he can bowl 3/4 overs

i have a feeling Rohit is not at his peak and jaiswal will be called in soon. opening in england is a very tough task and if Rohit is not at his best and is declining. rohit could be 38/39 years and his fitness is no where like Kohli. he may have some eyesight related issues too.

selectors beefed up the fast bowling attack - good job.

selectors could add an additional batsmen in yashasvi too.

Spinners get zero support and england will ensure pitches dont support spinners. only spinner who suceeds on such pitches are bishnoi and varun charabarthy. but they have picked washington/kuldeep/axar. axar i kinda agree but washie and kuldeep are not as good as varun /bisnoi for an ODI.

Varun is kinda mystery and BIshnoi is too tough for english batsmen to play.  even on their wickets these 2 guys could do some thing impressive. i heard varun is unfit.

then bishnoi and axar should be our spinners for england odi.

 

biggest mistake in selection is when a player is selected in the name of he being a AR.

India needs a Bowler who could Bat but they will select a Batsmen who can bowl. NK reddy is a batsmen who can bowl medium pace. what is his strong point , his batting is his strength. Selectors will go wrong here instead of selecting YASH Thakur who is just the opposite ( pace bowler who can bat)Or expect Harshit Rana who is again a Fast bowler who can bat to do the JOB.

 

GG should ask Harshit to do the JOB they plan for Nitin Kr reddy. NKR is 5ft and 8 inches tall, he is a reat fielder and a no 3 batsmen. selection commitee wants that he should bowl like Harshit rana and bat like Hardik Pandya or like Harshit RANA. Yash thakur or Harshit Rana are the closest Pace bowling ALL rounders. i agree they are not of Hardik Pandya's class but they are genuine fast bowlers who can bat.

Sundar is there why? For his blazing 15(22) in death overs, his 4 wicketless overs at 7 rpo per match, his sloth like fielding? Kis quota mein khel raha hai yeh banda.
